How to unlock all doors from driver's handle?

On the EX-L's is there a way to unlock all doors and hatch from touching the driver's handle with the fob in your pocket? Touching the driver's handle only unlocks the driver's door on my car but if you touch the passenger's door handle you can unlock all. This does not make sense to me. I haven't been able to find any documentation as to how to change this. The dealer doesn't seem to know either and agrees there should be some way to modify it. Is this the way everyone's HRV is set up?

No way to change, to unlock all open the door and then hit the unlock button inside. Or use the fob and hit unlock twice. No way to do what you are looking to do.

Refer to page 112 in the owners manual -- addresses programming the unlock features

Oops! Screwed up the page number at first ---- correct page is 112. Fingers don't always work right

This reminds me of one of the coolest features on my 2004 Accord EX-L, holding down the unlock button on the key fob and having all 4 doors unlock and the windows roll down all the way! Very handy in the hot summer months! I'm assuming the HRV does not have this feature?

I consider it a safety feature - if you're running for your car, you can get in but no one else can unless you specifically want them to.

When I have passengers and don't have my fob out, I either ask the front passenger to touch their door first, or I open mine, reach in, and push the unlock button on the inner door handle; that unlocks everything, and only takes an extra second.

This is a feature, if the driver is alone a stranger/carjacker/mugger could enter the passenger side. Similarly if I am by myself in an older car with remote entry I hit unlock once to just do my door. This feature is non-negotiable for women. I don't want anyone hopping in my car when I'm alone after dark. Period.

Page 112 actual is referring to unlocking all doors when the driver from inside the vehicle opens their doors.

I too understand the safety benefit, but it would be nice to program it differently or maybe do something like a longer touch unlocks all doors.
