I paid MSRP $22845 for our EX. I had gotten an Internet price from one dealer (RockHonda.com) for the same price - we had previously purchased our 2007 Civic Hybrid from them. We got there, test drove and then when we went to get the paperwork ready, the salesperson came back with - "you have to pay the $1995 premium or I can sell it to you for $22845, but you have to buy the 6 year extended warranty and 5 year maintenance (Oil change) (+$3300)." Right, they want me to pay an extra $3300 for them to HONOR the price they emailed/quoted me. Needless to say, we walked out and went to another dealer where they honored their price (Moss Bros Honda - MossBrosHondaMorenoValley.com). Plus, we get free Oil Changes for Life!

Paid $300 below MSRP and got them to throw in the cargo tray. I think I was their second HR-V sale; they still had five left on the lot. However, I was able to pay cash (along with trading in a 2005 V-6 Mustang) and they knew I was ready to buy that day. Cash always helps your negotiating position.

This weekend I put 200 miles on Miss Nakamoto, as I call her, and I'm very impressed. I'm 6' 1.5", and I fit fine; then again, I've always been comfortable in smaller cars. Plenty of power for a compact SUV. Paddle shifters are fun, and Econ mode really does help (averaging 26 mpg around town). Handles well, with quick steering, stable cornering, and a ride that's a tad firm. The tech and connectivity are clever and convenient -- my key fob never leaves my pocket, nor does my iPhone. Climate control is flawlessly automatic. Heated seats are cozy. Great cargo space for hauling around my kid and his gear. Even my wife, who drives a 2008 CR-V, loves the new ride.

Quite pleased with my new Honda. :-)
By cargo tray, do you mean the tonneau cover?
Or a rubber mat that protects spare tire cover board?

Smile 2016 HRV EX AWD Price Paid.

2016 HRV EX AWD CVT. No additional accessories. Purchased it for $23,451 = $22,651 +$800 destination. Only other fees I paid was 7% tax, title $33.50 and $250 dealer fee. Total out the door was $25512.00. I think this was a great price. What have others paid?

I am purchasing the Husky floor liners, cargo Mat and Mud guards. all from college hill Honda web site at a highly discounted price. Will be posting pictures soon.
