Rim shopping - no photoshop needed.

I'm researching black rims for my red HR-V. For others who are looking and want to see what it would look like before buying, I recommend Tirerack.com. The site shows a stock picture of your HRV and you can change the color to match yours. Then, it will show all the rims on the vehicle! No Photoshop needed! We've purchased rims from them for other vehicles and were very happy. You can also log in and save for your favorites for future viewing.

Black rims on red would look amazing. Post a picture when you're done.

It looks gorgeous. Nice job. Did you mask the lugs at all? I'm sure when you get the tires rotated or something there will be some scratching. No?

Great job. I'm going to try this out myself.

Hey Keith,I'm curious on the plasti dip coats on your rims and was thinking on doing the same on my SUV......have you tried drive-thru-machine-car wash?....did the paint hold and didn't peel off?

i had plasti dip on my previous car a 2013 Ford Focus ST, and had the plasti dip on for three years, never need touch ups and had no issues in the car wash.

My rims have been holding up very well. The dealer did scuff up one spot when rotating the tires. It will be an easy touch up. I painted the lug nuts and they held up very well when removed.

Black rims are for those too lazy to clean their wheels imo.
