I have 16" rims on mine with taller sidewall tires. I liked the aggressive look it got, especially with the snow tire treads. Didn't want the odometer to be off, so I kept the same diameter tire.

Same diameter? Didn't that change when you went taller?

Taller tires + smaller rims =same diameter..
If it was taller tires + OEM rim, that would change the odometer

I can't seem to find the website I bought them from, but I got a quote from an exporting company in Japan and bought them from there. IIRC, they were just over $700 including shipping.

Exactly. I used a tire calculator, then verified what Tire Rack recommended for "minus sizing" the tires to a 16" rim.

Honestly doing the research taught me a lot about tires, I was completely ignorant to how sizing worked previously! With the taller sidewall tires I don't notice much of a decrease in grip, but I do think the ride is a little nicer.

Must be nice not to have snow, or the pot holes created from snow plows and freeze/thaw

Lowering's not my thing, but it's neat to see what people do with this car.

I've been looking at these for awhile as an option to lift my HRV by 1-2". Do you know of these have the adjustable travel for that (or at least ride height)? (i might be able to lift using a combo of these with strut spacers)

Also, do you mind taking photos of your wheel well and underbody to see how these look when mounted? Thanks!
