Aftermarket suspension

So to all those wondering, BC racing is now making an aftermarket coil over kit for both the 2WD and AWD HRV.... 995 shipped and they are a very reputable company... I for one will be purchasing a set as soon as I save up the dough

Well I didn't buy my HRV for ground clearance... I wanted cargo space with good mpg... Hence my choice... I think it'll look very sporty, I have no delusions of grandeur about speed or on-rails handling...

Sounds like you could have saved yourself some money by buying a Fit

The Fit and HR-V don't look remotely alike.

Anyway, OP, I am curious to see what they look like installed! There have been some great Vezel/HR-V mods on Instagram. I think the HR-V looks good with a bit of a drop, a little bit more aggressive.

I think the fit is honestly ugly and the front end styling leaves a lot to be desired... I could have bought a fit, **** I could have just gotten an accord, but I like the HRV for its features, thus my choice.. I'm gonna lower it and throw some wheels on it

Can you post some pictures to show how a lowered HR-V would look like?

While I know nothing about the BC Racing coilovers, suspension upgrades aren't limited to lowering. I have a motorcycle with Öhlins shocks, and the adjustability and higher-quality valving make it possible to get both a better ride and improved handling than with the OEM components. There are lots of ways to set up suspension incorrectly, but done right, after-market suspension can make a world of difference.

See this post from March 15: Air suspension hr-v

Absolutely not an option for me, as my wife half destroyed the front end of our old Fit by repeatedly high siding it on curbs. So far, she hasn't done the same with the HR-V (fingers crossed).
