samsung android Bluetooth source

My galaxy s6 edge plays music fine..but it doesn't registered the title of the song artist or anything..Anyone knows how to fix this? On honda hands free link it said based on the model and phone I have it should show up via Bluetooth. .and I use Spotify

Seriously, I think the simple answer is the HRV system works mainly with iPhone (which I do not have...will not have). Do some searching. You might find even more with a google search than on this forum....but you can search the forum too.

It's some setting in the car- it may be as simple as making sure it loads call history....but play with the settings, especially under audio....I'm not in the car today so can't be more specific

To all these people who have Android issues...have you gone back to the dealership to have someone there show you? Granted, 2 salesmen who gave me a test drive were pretty clueless...but maybe hey were exceptions.

My note 4 displays all as long as I am connected by bluetooth.

I wish when just using the radio that it would display the song title and artist. I miss this basic feature....

Ang - I had to go into a setting to change that on mine. It displays it.

Im using a Sony Xperia z2 and it works perfectly fine with audio displays and functions. The only problem is the incompatibility with the voice recognition.

Have you tried the settings allowing the head unit to get info from your phone (i.e. call history and phonebook)?
