First HID Retrofitted HRV in the US?

I took advantage of the 3 day weekend and went ahead and retrofitted my headlights and installed the LED DRL Fog lights. I used Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 Projectors with a DDM 55W 6000K HID Kit. I didn't take any pictures of the process because I had a time crunch (It's my only car), but you have to basically strip your whole front end to remove the headlights.

I haven't hooked up the DRL lights permanently. I'll take more pics when I finally get that them.

Looks fantastic! That is a lot of front end to remove, you are a gutsier person than I.

Nice... A little jealous. Actually a lot.
Couple of questions:
1) How is the throw on the headlights. Are they comparable to the stock, better?
2) The DRL, you have them on at night in the picture, so can not tell how bright during the day. Are they bright in daylight.?
Finally, can you please provide a detailed parts list and where did you buy them. Headlights and DRL.

Thanks. Great job again.

The HID projectors light up the road 20X better than the stock halogen headlights. In fact, they're a lot brighter than most of the stock HID's on luxury cars. I've stopped at red lights next to some beemers and Benz's and my lights were a lot brighter.

The DRL's aren't as bright as I wish they were, but they look good at night. I'll take some daytime pics soon.

The complete HID kit was purchased from DDM Tuning. They used to sell quality HID kit's but a bulb melted after the first day. It wasn't too bad, but it melted to the point where it won't turn on anymore. The Morimoto Projectors and the shrouds were purchased on ebay.

Not to mention put the headlight into an oven to open them up.

Yeah, to be honest, I was scared of ruining the headlights or not being able to get it all done in time for work the next day.

Lol. You have to bake the headlights in the oven to remove the front lens and install the HID Projectors. It's definitely not for the faint hearted.
