Got me beat. I've shoved five 265/75/16 tires (about a 32x10.5x16) mounted on 16x8 wheels in the back of mine. Also had a front seat passenger. Could easily have fit a 6th tire and maybe a 7th one.

The biggest issue I've faced with carrying heavy cargo is that the rear suspension is really soft, so it takes some careful consideration to distribute the weight as evenly as possible to avoid having the headlights point at the sky (and blind oncoming traffic).

The CX-3 trunk is pathetically small compared to the HR-V. Looked at one recently at an auto show. That drawstring backpack is about 14" tall.
