New Audi TT RS

I have a love-hate relationship with audi. As a Mercedes/BMW/Porsche guy myself, I find some of the audi having great styling and interesting engineering. Such as the R8, the V12 TDI diesel engine, the V10 engine in the S6 and all those cool wagons. Yet, they discourage me with their reliability and over-complicated engineering such as the last v8 where the timing chain is at the back of the engine.

I always like the TT, they are stylish and uncommon. Plus an uncommon Inline -5 cylinder engine.

I love the I-5 in my daughter's 09 VW Rabbit, as well as the one in her 00 Beetle. I know that engine got a lot of flak, but both those cars will scoot.

It's not that I'm old...Your music really does suck.

I have owned 2 Audis. A 1982 the Audi Coupe. Loved that car until it was stolen and wrecked. Also owned a 2009 Audi A4. Loved that car too which I finally traded in last December for a Civic 2016. I must say that both Audis were good cars and I can not complain. I briefly played with the idea of an Audi S3 instead of the Civic but finally decided on the Civic because I was SO impressed with my HRV.

My wife has a borderline obsession with the Audi TT line. They are great cars, but like most German cars, I wouldn't want to own one outside of it's warranty period. I currently do with my Jetta and I dread the day something electrical goes wrong with it. Having said that, I would LOVE to drive any of Audi's new RS vehicles.
