Show us your previous cars

I thought it would be fun to see everyone's previously owned cars... especially the older folks here. I'm really into 80's, 90's, and early 2000's Japanese cars. I usually point out 80's/90's cars in really good shape with the original glossy paint but nobody else seems to care. I'm 32 so it might just be because I grew up around them. I also like classics but have never had the time/money to own one.

Anyway, I'll start. Here are my previously owned cars (All original paint).

1989 All white package Toyota Supra Turbo, 5 Speed, Targa Top. Fully rebuilt engine and upgraded 57 Trim Turbo, Complete 3" DP and Greddy SP Exhaust, Greddy Type S BOV (Best Sounding BOV), Apexi Intake, 12 lbs boost, HID Retrofit (My first retrofit), JDM tail lights, JDM fog lights, Euro corner lights and side markers, Bilstein Shocks, H&R Springs, Endless brakes, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot more.

Most comfortable seats ever

1991 CRX Si (Last year and only year in Tahitian Green). Other than BBS wheels and lowering springs, it was completely stock.

1993 Toyota Pickup 5 Speed 2WD, Lifted a few inches.

2004 Nissan Frontier 2WD Auto (Lowered)

2004 Scion XA 5 Speed, Aside from being lowered and the wheels, it's was mostly stock.

2013 Honda Fit Sport Auto (Only Pictures I have. I traded it in after having it for only a month).

Slow I'm in LOVE with that Supra. Absolutely gorgeous. I don't have anything on par with that, but I still own an '86 Honda Prelude SI, 124k miles all original that's survived a tornado with just some minor boo boo's... I still drive him pretty regularly:

When I got him:

After tint on an obnoxiously hot summer day:

AND as he stands now.. need to get a headlight motor fixed and clean him up some..

I certainly haven't gotten out with a real camera and taken any decent pics with him... maybe someday soon now that I have a better phone and a little bit more time.

Looks good HeRoV. That's my favorite style of Prelude. I like the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gens. I was never really a fan of the 5th gen.

Not my actual car, 1982 Audi Coupe, but mine looked exactly like this, except mine had BBS wheels:

Sadly it was stolen in the middle of the day from a heavy traffic (pedestrian and cars) Boston main street. 1 week later it was found with the interior wrecked and my special BBS wheels gone. It was a total loss.

Oddly, I've never taken pictures of any of my cars. I started with a 1956 190SL, which was fun, but far from reliable. I sold it in 1970 to buy a Honda N600, because I needed reliable transportation to work in Los Angeles :

102 HP from a 1900cc engine, and 22 mpg was about as good as it ever got. It had a manual spark advance knob on the dashboard, which the driver could turn until pinging started, then back off a bit.

Favorite motorcycle to date was a 1988 Honda Hawk GT :

647cc water cooled V-twin with a single-sided swingarm, several years before Ducati came out with the Monster. Perfect bike for twisty mountain roads. I sold it in March 2014.

Here's my 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86). The engine is completely
stock with a Vibrant stainless steel headers and 2.5 cat back exhaust, Eibach springs, 15" Work Ewing mesh wheels.

I loved this car but sadly I had to get rid of her to make room for the HRV.

The kid who bought it off me is in the process of putting a turbo on it. I'm not sure how it would hold up since it's a 30+ year old engine but he seems to know what he's doing.

Dont have pics of many cars Ive owned, mostly Hondas though. Just the last few and 1 I still own is all I have pics of.

And a car Ive had for about 13yrs now. Dont know how someone could say a 5th gen Lude is ugly compared to a 4th gen. I actually used to own a 4th gen prior to this one, but anyways.

My baby Lucy.

Hiding from winter back in Minnesnowta. (That state requires a front plate so I got personalized ones, can you figure it out?)

About 4-5 yrs ago taken when i moved to Arizona.

Back in Minnesota along the shore of Lake Superior.

Better plate shot for ya.

Taken just this AM in Bisbee, AZ on the breakfast run.

And another from Bisbee today.

And from a car show at a local church last weekend. Only HR-V in town so why not?!

Sorry Im a pic wh0re. .......

None of these pics are mine, but I've owned all of these cars.

1977 Chrysler Cordoba (with the soft corinthian leather of course). My first car. It had a sunroof with a hand crank, but everything else was power (seats, windows, locks, etc.).

1985 Plymouth Duster. The Cordoba was a boat! So, I decided to go for something smaller. This was my first new car. Mine had different rims.

1992 Saturn SC2. The Duster wasn't a very well built car - I always had some kind of problem with it, from mechanical to interior stuff breaking off. This Saturn I bought new. It lasted me 13 years, around 140,000 miles.

1998 Saturn SL2. I was very happy with my 92 Saturn and bought the 1998 for my wife.

2005 Saab 9-2x. In 2005 I traded in my 92 Saturn SC2 for the Saab. This was a great car.

1995 Dodge Intrepid. After trading in the 92 Saturn, the 98 Saturn started to have some mechanical issues. Sold it and took this Intrepid from my father who was buying himself a new car.

2006 Pontiac Vibe. The Intrepid was a great car, but I didn't care for it too much, so I traded it for the Vibe. The Vibe was another great car. Had it for 9 years, 167,000 miles.

2010 Subaru Forester. Traded in the 2005 Saab 9-2x. This is the actual car for sale at the Honda dealer where we bought the HR-V.

2015 Subaru Impreza Sport (currently own). Traded the 2006 Vibe. It was time for something new. I'm really enjoying this car. My wife & I switch between the Impreza & HR-V.

If you don't look back after walking away from your car, you bought the wrong car

I'm with ya slow, but I do really like the 5th gen. My very first car was a gen 4 Lude and it was an awesome car for the ~year I had it. When I bought the Hr-V the plan was to sell the Prelude, but we moved and have more space now, and the only people who've shown any interest in the car have been total turds. I care more about the car going to a good place, so we're gonna hang onto it for a while.

You've definitely reawoken some goals in me though, that Supra was good for my soul lol
