Hi!
Could you please share your impressions about the engine?
Because I was interested in the same engine, but I'm worried that is has so few torque, and for moving the family in highways may be a little short... What's your feeling? where do you drive normally? do you drive it with 4 people and luggage?
Obrigado!

Diego

Hi Diego

I drive it mostly only with my wife (i don't have kids) and my daily driving is half city, half highway.

Compared to my previous car(2013 Honda Jazz 1.2 90Hp/114Nm), i feel this engine almost like as a diesel one. Of course in climbs to steep i have to rev it up. With AC on i don't notice loss of power, has i felt with the Jazz.

I know the diesel engine would give a more relaxed driving, due higher torque i would not need to shift gears in some climbs. But reving up this engine is also fun

Reviews say that this engine is fine unless you plan to toe something.

The reason why i choose this engine is: i don't travel a lot and it has no turbo and no particles filter(no problems with those in the future )

You better test drive it before making any decision

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
thank you very much for your message, it is really good help.
I think I will need to test it, the problem is that the local Honda dealer is not having any 1.5 for a drive test... and I'm waiting for the Seat Ateca to be on the market, because it will cost more or less the same as the HR-V, and right now it might be a better option for me.
But I'd love to have an Honda
Thanks again for the feedback!
Cheers,

Diego
