This is a great mod and easy transaction from College Hills Honda. I watched their video installation and placed an order shortly after getting the HR-V. Love the sound of the new horn. Take a look and compare the sound.

Did you take the bumper off for install? I don't feel comfortable taking it apart just for he horn.

Love the Horn upgrade and looks like a relatively easy bolt-on installation (but) complete Front Bumper removal? Unless your a DIY shade-tree mechanic, can you imagine the "Hourly Book Rate" for your authorized Honda Dealer`s labor charge for the project? Guess I`ll have to live with the Road-Runner`s (Beep-Beep)!

I did not remove bumper for install. It's a little fiddly and helps if you have small hands, but it can be done. It's easy to remove the bumper cover, and would make the install easier, but again, it can be done without removing bumper. Lift the hood and you can see the horns.

Thanks for the reply. I do have small hands, so that might work out good for me!

Watch the video, it will give you an idea where the horns are located. The driver side you can reach it from the top and passenger side from the bottom.

Watch the College Hills installation video, specifically, at the ~1:42 mark, where it says that complete removal of the bumper is not necessary.

That said, the driver's side horn is visible and appears to be fairly easy to reach from above, but the horn on the passenger side is under the windshield washer reservoir, which either has to be removed for access from above, or a panel behind the bumper needs to be removed to gain access from below.

I have ordered the horn kit, but I don't plan to install it until cooler weather arrives in the fall. One of my first mods on my 2009 Fit was to replace the wimpy OEM horn with a dual-tone air horn (which required a fused circuit from the battery and a relay to avoid blowing a fuse).

I just ordered a set. I was planning on eventually installing the loud $10 electric "snail" horns from Harbor Freight but these save me the headache of custom mounting and wiring.
