Trying to picture this. Was this because the steering wheel was in the way or the seat not back far enough?

63 cars listed on Cars.com for my area. They are not all coming at once I am sure. Stopped at the dealer by my house tonight. They have them in! I got a brochure & will test drive an EX 8:30am tomorrow

Your welcome for the pics. I think the window sticker was on the red LX awd. Im under two hundred pounds. My knee naturally falls to the right when Im in a car. The gas pedal is close to the console so my leg/knee rested on the console. The car was in the service department so I didn't try adjusting the seat which may have helped. I was surprised that even with the leather interior there is no power seat controls....

Also interesting to note in the interior picture the knobs for the heater controls on the lx as opposed to the touch screen on the EX....

Just got done test driving a blue 2WD EX-L with gray leather interior. First impressions were good. I really liked look and feel of the car as a whole and was pleasantly surprised by the blue color. It changes color depending on where you're standing, so sometimes it looks dark purple, and other times a deep royal blue.

The drive itself wasn't the best because I was driving on highway 75 during five o clock traffic. I definitely felt like it was a bit sluggish on acceleration and tried driving in both normal mode and "S" mode (spirited mode). My fiancé said he felt like there was quite a bit of road noise, but I didn't really pay attention to it. I'm definitely going to need to drive one again because the small amount of time I had with this one left me feeling wary. I love the look and feel of the car, but I just wasn't impressed by the little performance I witnessed.

Test drives are hard to do right. A lot of times I'll ask my wife to take the first lap. I sit in back and just concentrate on noise, suspension feel, visibility. You'd be surprised what you can learn about a car sitting in the back seat while somebody else drives.

I also have a cardinal test rule - inviolable. I respectfully ask my salesperson not to talk during the ride, or better yet not to come along (at my age, I'm usually granted a solo ride). The test ride is all about me and the car, not about the sales pitch. Out of respect for this person who's letting me ride his/her dealership's vehicle and giving me their time, I do listen to the sales pitch both before and after, and I explain very politely why I want a totally quiet test drive.

That rule comes from my years as a military test aviator. Rule #1 - we had a sterile cockpit during the test flight, meaning no extraneous chatter.

Hard to keep up with all the threads. Has anyone from this forum actually purchased? There have been some hearsay reports others. What about us? I thought I was going to drive tonight and buy tomorrow, but they didn't get here today. So, I am anxious to hear what people are paying.
