I just installed the weathertech mats in my HR-V and took a few photos to share so people will know how they fit and what the coverage looks like. Coverage and fitment look very good and about 1000 times better coverage than the OEM all weather mats. As a note, I contacted Husky mats today about when we should expect mats and the engineer said they have not found an HR-V to do measurements in yet, once they do it will be about two months before the mats are available. For now weathertech seems to be the only option. Maybe I can wait on the cargo liner from Husky, but I sure could not wait on the mats!

I hope these help those that are interested in these mats!

Man that's a great fit! Do they just drop in like that, or is there more to the installation (apart from the two clippy deals on the diver's side)?

How do the mats feel underfoot... are they hard plastic, or is there some give to them? I wouldn't normally consider true all-weather mats since we have virtually no snow here (though it does rain), but if they feel more like carpet than a plastic tray I might consider them. Sure look good, and great protection.

They literally just drop right in, no fuss at all in the install of these. They are basicly a plastic tray, they are not soft. I like soft, but my old CRV al weather Honda mats were soft and they dis colored badly due to being soft they were hard to get the dirt off of.

If you'd like a better feel to this style mat the Aries 3D mats may be what you are looking for. Not available for HRV yet I do not believe but I have them in my Abarth and they are softer rubbery top with a backing of some type that sort of turns into a velcro type of texture and they really stick to carpet. I love them and am happy with those as far as feel more than the weathertech. Thick enough and even seem to be sound deadening to an extent.

Maybe the Husky would also be better as far as feel as they seem to advertise a better "soft" feel over the WT, but not availaible yet.

Great photos. For anyone asking about mine - they look exactly like this, but covered in dust already. The expense was forgotten completely within 24 hours of having them in. My husband really wants some for his work truck now.

JUST a fyi, I have them in my 09 fit - living in Canada, we get snow.

only negative....in winter that is, you will have to pull them out and dump the dirty water or your pants will soil - I find the front drivers slightly difficult to remove cos of the hooks, but they keep the carpet clean

I get water in my mats like this too, but I wait overnight and the water turns to ice. Then I open the door and pull out the ice pancake that formed and toss it on the ground much easier! I guess that is one tiny benefit to not having a garage, but I'd give this fun ice tossing up for a garage any day. :)
