Car won't start after sitting for 7 days

My car won't start if I don't use it for what I consider a relatively short period of time. The first time it happened it didn't start after not using it for 11 days, the second time it wouldn't start after not using it for 7 days. Both times jump starting the car worked, but I find my brand new car with less then 800km on it should start if it's left sitting for a week. The car dealer tells me I should drive it at least twice a week for 30min but that seems exaggerated. What if I leave on vacation (after Covid)?
Have any of you not used their HR-V for over a week and did you have issues starting?
