Honda has revealed the European production version of the 2015 HR-V. Not too many surprises here as the production version looks very similar to the concept that we saw at the Paris Motor Show back in October.

The Euro HR-V will come with either a 1.5-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine developing 130 HP or a 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel rated at 120 HP.

The EUro HR-V will hvae a very spacious cabin. It has 60:40 split folding Magic Seats. The trunk capacity stands at 453 liters and can expand to 1,026 liters by folding the seats down.

Depending on trim, the HR-V can come with a plethora of safety & assistance systems such as Advanced Driver Assist, City Brake Active Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, High-beam Support and Traffic Sign Recognition.
The HRV will go on sale in the summer.

Just noticed that the Euro. version appears to be getting the tube brake lights like the Vezel.

Dear Honda, why can't we get any of the fancy lights here in the USA?

My guess is that the LEDs are being "saved" for the Acura version.

I am thinking that the non-USA market is seen by Honda as needing to be upscale and more expensive to fit a marketing niche there. I believe Honda is striving to keep it at a price level that the majority of the drivers will accept in the US. (Selfishly speaking, I am going to be very happy if the LX comes with a low price undercutting the CX-3 by foregoing the expensive features which to my taste are not needed).

Now if they price it too high, I am with you when you say "why not?" when it comes to expensive features.

At least it should be easier to get these features changed out since there will be lots of European and Asian replacement parts out there.
Any one have an idea of you can purchase these lights and replace the stock ones?
