"Fumbling around manufacturer's online shopping tools comes with the territory for automotive review journalist. We just discovered the easiest, simplest to use shopping tool we’ve experienced to date. Honda presents a unique approach to crossover shopping. Keeping it simple 2016 HR-V style. How does Honda spin a bit of “one-off, first to the line excitement” in the the introduction of an exciting subcompact crossover concept, while taking the angst of perhaps “too-many” engine, transmission and option choices out of the mix? In rolls 2016 Honda HR-V crossover, and undoubtedly the easiest to maneuver online “Official Site” buyer’s tool Torque News has experienced to date.

Brilliant marketing strategy: Your 2016 HR-V buying experience begins here

We dislike nothing more than a manufacturer’s “Official Site” that takes us to an endless bombardment of email, zip code-demand pop-up boxes, and area dealership backlinks. While you are afforded the opportunity to “price and shop” 2016 HR-V on American Honda Motor’s latest exploration and shopping format, it’s not as “ In your face” as many competing automotive brands names. You may simply drop in and check out 2016 HR-V without being hammered to purchase it.

Nearly intuitive, no hidden costs, markups, or endless option $ add,on

The first thing this consumer noticed when logging into Honda’s latest generation shopping tool, is how “clean and crisp” the visual is. Somehow, Honda I.T. has brought the “glossiness” of a high dollar automotive magazine to the internet without the nuisance of advertising clutter. A joy to view, a joy to use, HR-V’s Official Site is as straightforward as the vehicle itself. No nonsense or hyperbole here!

One engine, 2 transmissions, two drivelines, and 3 trim variants; that’s it!

Honda’s kept our choice as to HR-V feature options to a minimal, while producing a visually pleasing crossover of measurable value and attainable price point. Actually, HR-V returns buyers to the historic value focused roots of Honda Motors; where the original Civic and Accord offered simple, mechanically bulletproof reliability.

Budget consideration doesn’t always translate to concession or sacrifice

We’ve seen it, we’ve driven it, we like it! 2016 Honda HR-V will return its owner to an earlier age of ‘a certain pride of ownership’ found through making that budget consideration “Logically progressive” step forward; through a “ reasonable” yet fun automotive purchase, without burying one’s self in(high) burdening car payments, maintenance and fuel costs.

A few final words

While our readers debate the interior noise level, power to weight ratio and HR-V road handling prowess, (HA! now that is FUNNY! ) we know that 2016 Honda HR-V features a comfortable, ergonomically well balanced coupe-like driving environment, the “Magic-Seat” flat-deck, tall object hauling utility of 2015 Honda Fit, and the optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) foul weather and off the pavement track-ability of CR-V; all, available at a very attractive price; starting at MSRP $19,199 + for a nicely appointed LX front wheel drive, to $24,590 for the fully optioned EX-L with navigation.

We find 2016 HR-V crossover to be an exceptional drive-ownership experience for the $. Check it out!"

So the article is accurate after all. ;)

Obviously Honda has done their homework on their intended audience and how they are marketing it. Is the HRV perfect, gosh no, but then NO OTHER vehicle ever will be.

Again, if you look at the target audience of the HRV, Honda designed it exactly for what the corresponding demographics have been asking for.

As a results, just like the CRV, the HRV will only gain in years and years to come. Most people haven't even heard of the HRV because us folks on this forum. This is typical until people see them on the road which raises the most interest or are in the showroom to initially look at another vehicle. Like it or Hate it, the 2016 HRV will be the GOT HAVE IT vehicle in the coming months and years. Its just getting started....
