Wonder when we will start seeing these?

Berkeley Honda will be receiving the First 2015 HRV 2WD EXL with Navigation early April. The incoming HRV is White with Gray Leather interior.
If you want this HRV please contact Rezaul Bashar at 510-331-9658 to set up an appointment.

Wow....that is interesting..... I were still going to be in California then.

I have heard that sometimes they are so anxious to sell something they won't keep a sample around to see. Sounds like the case here.

I went to their web page and didn't find any reference to this. Maybe it has been pulled already. But, my dealer did tell me a while back that they were due to get their allocations the third week in March, so the timing is right.

If true it would confirm that you can get an EX-L in FWD (and possibly a manual?). I know in another thread someone said that the EX-L would be AWD only, something I don't think Honda will do, but it's possible.

I don't know how that got started. I haven't seen anything from Honda indicating EXL would only be AWD. It is true that at all the shows it was that way,so easy to think that I suppose .

While no example around to show us will be disappointing, they're smart in doing that as considering the type of vehicle this is, it's bound to sell, not much convincing they need to do

Normally the dealers order the cars they want. For example, they might not expect to sell many LXs in Beverly Hills, so they might only order EX-Ls. The initial allocation is going to be set by Honda. The dealers are supposed to get that information this week.

That would be cool. I think I will contact my favorite trusted dealer and see what she has heard about allocation. Maybe I should make known that I want an LX to help with "demand" a bit for that model. I also think that my part of Phoenix would be more toward the lower income people so that might bode well for Honda's decision to send LX's.

When dies supply not equal demand

I was told limited numbers in initial supply and they would have little selection in what they get.

Sent an e-mail to my favorite Phoenix dealer about allocation...

"There has been some discussion on line about dealer "allocation" next week. Would be nice to hear if you hear about that. I am also interested in the base, LX model if that helps toward knowing what your dealership will have on hand."

She responded......

"We didn't pick the first round, so I still don't have the information on what will be sent out to us."

Make sense since Honda doesn't know what will sell yet in this area. Once the early sales figures show what model demand is in this area, the dealer can ask for specific stock.

So how soon after the first stock does a dealer get their specific requested stock?
