Hey thanks for this writeup. It all sounds leaps and bounds better than the stock headunit. I don't use bluetooth for much so that's no issue for me but will be for some people. Did you order from Aliexpress or directly from the Dasaita website? Also, could you provide an amazon link to the adapter you're talking about?

As for the hdmi replacement I believe it would be a straight swap with a usb plug. The part from honda new is about 45 dollars but this would be a good thing to go to a junkyard and grab.

I purchased through AliExpress. They asked for photos of the stock dashand rear of the headunit and connectors. (I just found a photo of one on eBay for the rear/connector photo. The model number is on the front upper right of the stock unit.)

I contacted the manufacturer directly through the AliExpress messaging system to get the Lane Assist camera configured. There was a bit of a language barrier but the support rep was very helpful.

this is the USB adapter I ordered I haven't actually received it yet but it looks the same as the one that was included. I will report back on this as well.

eBay may be my source for a used USB. Or perhaps it is a standard Honda switch/accessory hole size and a generic one will work. Hmmm...

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware that the US EX models have a GPS antenna in the dash that the stock radio doesn't use. I believe this antenna can be retained with the use of a GT5-1S to SMA male adapter if one were so inclined.

Perfect! Much appreciated. The antenna included with the unit has a really long cable and isn't likely up to par with Honda oem.

I did find an ebay auction from a US seller that makes these adapters in various lengths. The also make one with the SMA end at a right angle if that would be helpful for easier fitment.

Also, I have a quick question. Is the Dasaita unit capable of changing rear camera views like the stock headunit can? Or is it permanently in wide view mode?

I haven't done much to explore the bluetooth side of things. I am happy that the cameras work and I have HIGH QUALITY AUDIO in my car now. SECOND, I have a HUGE navigation screen with no restrictions. This thing is great.

Mine arrived a few days ago and I installed it yesterday. It's amazing how flexible it is. Don't like the nav that shipped with the unit? No problem, just head to the app store. Don't like the music player that came with the unit? No problem head to the app store. Don't like the launcher? Head to the app store. Sound quality between it and stock headunit is night and day. I had already upgraded the speakers. They did make an improvement in clarity for sure but the sound felt gutted.

Exactly. I really dig the included full version of AG Car Launcher but I am excited about being able to load any launcher with widgets.
I was in the same boat, having upgraded the speakers I really heard exactly how terrible the stock stereo's sound really is. The Dasaita sounds amazing compared to stock.

Have you tested bluetooth audio streaming from your phone?

I have. Sounds as you have described. Not a big deal to me as I never used the feature in the original radio. Phone calls are fine.

I'm having an issue trying to set a default launcher. The usual android menu option in the default apps section of settings doesn't seem to be there. Same on your unit?
