Android Head Unit Upgrade

I updated my phone to the newest iOS (operating system) and the Zlink app to connect to CarPlay wirelessly became very slow to load and connect to my phone. I tried a few things on the head unit and also doing a hard restart on my phone and nothing helped it. The Zlink app usually loads the moment that the head unit is turned on and then it takes about 2 seconds or less for the CarPlay to load but it was taking about 30 seconds for Zlink to load and another 20 seconds for CarPlay to connect on the phone. So, after trying everything with the head unit and phone, I restarted my (fiber) Wi-Fi modem and it fixed everything that was going slow. I’m not sure how that interacts with the car but I’m just glad that it’s fixed and wanted to pass the information along for everyone.
Where did you get the update for the Zlink? I have a dasaita px11 vivid

I have never updated the Zlink app software, that paragraph that you quoted may seem like I did but if you read it correctly it was a restart of my Wi-Fi modem that fixed the problem that time.

However, at least on my car (PX 10), there is an update link in the Zlink app. It’s under either the “settings” or “about”.
Ah, probably misread it but thanks I’ll check mine later

When you put the new head unit in that screw (actually none of them) are used anymore. The new head unit is sandwiched between the dash pad and the dash frame. Myself, I accidentally dropped that screw down into the dash and it was never seen again. Personally, I would just drill it out and remove the old head unit, which you will never use again anyway.
I used a skinny Philips head screwdrivers to retain two out of the 3 screws holding the oem head unit for mine

Hi Guys,

I just bought Dasaita G13 for my HR-V 2019 Elegance trim for EU German market from dasaita webpage, it is the only model now when you filter by vehicle. Waiting on delivery

I bricked OEM head unit by installing some update which was obviously incorrect...
Originally it had version with DAB radio, Garmin navi, android 4.04, with soft menu/back/volume buttons, and hard power, eject, brightness buttons.

I am worried about microphone and gps and radio antenas. Car already has microphone can that be used ? Or the mic is part of OEM head unit ?
Can I just connect existing OEM GPS and Radio antenas and mic.
Basically I'm asking what else I have to do beside just matching connectors when installing latest Dasaita G13

Does multiangle choosing on reversing camera works with Dasaita.

Wish me luck. I'll post how it went with it on my vehicle trim.
From my experience, I have the 2022 HRV LX 2nd Gen USDM. I bought the Dasaita PX6. The microphone near the roof lights was not usable. It theoretically could have been if you could figure out which wire to splice a connector for it. Radio Antennas were direct plug-and-play to the harness, for GPS I am not sure, as mine did not come with a GPS standard.
