Im 6'4" and fit perfectly in my 2000 Prelude.
I need 43" of legroom.

Anyone have any info of how the HRV will spec out in this area?

You can try searching Vezel specs, but this is one number we don't have confirmed yet for the NA market.
"Bones45": Hope you have better luck than I did in getting that info soon! I'm 6'2" and with a bum knee which requires 43" or more of legroom, a number I confirmed after checking the Fit, Civic and CRV in person at dealerships when I couldn't find that HRV dimension anywhere.

Late last October I finally called Honda Customer Service in Calif. and explained my physical issue, stated that I'd be willing to postpone a new car purchase till the (then) newly- postponed target of "Spring '15" if I could find out the key legroom measurement right then rather than risking a wait till 2015 only to find out it was too short. (During the phone call, they had confirmed from corporate records that, over the years, I had owned 2 Hondas and 3 Acuras and so was a serious inquirer.) After checking twice with higher-ups, the phone rep. said that measurement would NOT be released by Honda for any reason until the HRV was officially released for sale in 2015!! Puzzled & peeved, I ordered a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek (43.5" legroom) the next day and I love it!

Seems like an odd thing to keep secret if they do know it already though. I wonder why they would hold that information so close to the chest.
The only thing I could find was 41.4 for the fit. You would think you could find the Vezel spec somewhere since it's in production.
"TrueNorth/Alladat1": I agree that the secrecy was "odd", perhaps they were then (Fall '14) still rejiggering the interior space allocation for the North American model or, other than basic length/width/height/cargo space, they were keeping all details secret from competitors till the very last second?!?
The dealerships' staff I visited (several) were as puzzled as I was but were basically too tied up with worries about the production/initial quality/shipping/delivery problems they were having with the new Mexican-produced Fit to worry about something 6 months or more away! One salesperson spent over 30 minutes calling and otherwise "digging" for me and came back with a "group consensus guessestimate" from his regional sources that front legroom would be the same as the new Fit (41.4") with larger-than-Fit dimensions only in the rear seat and cargo areas. That was too "iffy" to rely on and also negative for my needs (43+"). That's when I called Honda Customer Service in California with the frustrating results noted in Post #3 above. Of course, as a long-term Honda/Acura fan, I was disappointed/dismayed at the time but now I'm delighted with my Crosstrek (43.5" legroom) and have no intention of "looking back".

I think there might be a chance of the HRV showing up at the Chicago auto show in about a week and a half, so there might be a ton of information that rolls out then
I would just look up the specs for the models in other markets and assume that the NA model will have similar dimensions.
Seems like it's a spec. that isn't listed in other markets as I've looked and can find it anywhere!

I did check out Automobiles.honda.com, and just about all of their cars are between 41 and 42 inches on front leg room (Fit, Civic, CR-V, etc.). So I would guess the HR-V will be in that range.
