I have to say, with the several articles I've read from that torquenews website on the HR-V, I'm not impressed by that "reporter" and his articles. The last one he did on the HR-V before this one had numerous errors about the HR-V that even a basic look at the information on the web would have set him straight (like that the HR-V in NA is now a 2016 model). Anyway, just take that website with a big grain of salt.Is the author aware that the HR-V is significantly longer and heavier than the Fit ?
2600lb is the weight of the Fit that is well served with the 1.5l engine (130 hp).
The HR-V weights about 10% more, about the same as the Civic. The Civic has a 1.8l (145 hp) engine that is adequate. This engine is offered on the Vezel in several markets. I would think that it is a minimum for NA.
