Hello everyone,

I'm a friendly Canadian who is looking to buy a new SUV. The HR-V is near the top of the list but i am also looking at the Murano and the Tiguan.

I'll need to wait for pricing on the HR-V, but I'm going to try to buy in late winter (when the HR-V is supposed to come out) because I heard that there are plenty of big discounts around that time as dealers try to sell cars at the last minute to reach sales targets.

Designs just look pretty good to me. I haven't had the chance to give them a test drive so its hard for me to tell which I like better. Honda might be better quality though so I'm not so sure about the Nissan and VW brands any more. I could go for something bigger than the HRV, but I need to figure out if I really need that extra space or not.

I see, I have been hearing some bad things about nissan, especially with the new pathfinder, meanwhile honda is well... being honda, it's almost always safe to go with them.

These days it seems like most car makers are only providing bad news, but Honda has kept up its quality reputation in the midst of all that. SO I am mostly leaning towards Honda at this point. I was also thinking about Volvo, but that will be more expensive.

it's just that bad news gets far more attention since most times it involves the consumer to be well aware of it if it's directly vehicle related.
