A couple of weeks ago I bought cross bars on amazon for our HRV sport AWD, and here’s how they look.

I bought the black ones to match the car.
But then the rails were aluminum and didnt match the car, So I also decided
to fix that.

A gloss black rattle can later….

Looks waaayyyy better!!

Then i put the crossbars back on and installed a roof basket!

I have the bars, and when they are not needed, I do take them off because of the wind noise, and a negligible decrease in fuel economy. They can be installed in 5-10 minutes, and de-install <5.

Does the wind noise bother you? Ive seen many reviews with complaints about the sound of these cross bars?

Asking because i'm looking to purchase some myself. Thanks
Yeah they are a bit noisy around 40-60mph w/out the basket. With the basket on you hear the basket and not the bars lol. We just learned to live with it and drown it out with music lol.
