I picked up my 17 HRV Ex (w/ 60,280 miles) today from the dealer after a short few days of buying it so that they could perform some maintenance and replace tires.

When inquiring about the documentation for the servicing, I found that they did not 'perform' the manufacturing recommended schedule for the flushing the coolant and Automatic transmission fluid, rather they 'inspected it' and 'topped it off' . The service schedule is 60k for both coolant and transmission flush. Should I demand these services be performed rather than 'topped off' if I'm just going to have to pay for it my self in a short amount of time?

The carfax does not report these services being performed by the previous owner, despite all the other recorded services performed being completed by the dealer in which I bought it from.

Thanks

Of course asking for the flush prior to purchasing would have helped. But a good service center should flush versus top.
