Hello, all,
Has anyone else had a defective multipurpose (front-facing) camera?
Two days ago, I was driving when, suddenly, a shrill alarm sounded, immediately followed by multiple error messages. The primary errors were: Brake System, Auto High-Beam Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Lane Keeping Assist Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem, & Adaptive Cruise Contol Problem. I pulled over, turned off the car for a bit, & turned it back on. All the error messages remained.
According to the Honda dealership I visited, both my battery & the multipurpose (front-facing) camera failed. There were about 12-14 codes in the diagnostic. I've requested that list.
The battery was replaced that day & the camera is on order. Yesterday all of the errors remained, but "resolved" on their own last night. After which the auto high-beams & cruise control worked.
Today, all error messages have returned & none of the features work or can be disabled. Anyone else experience this or something similar?
Thank you, in advance!
