Electronic Parking Brake

Hi, does anyone know how you remove the plug connector on the Electronic Parking Brake on a 2016 HRV,
Ive not manged to do it yet as ive not done it before, I just dont wantg to force it or damage it.....

As per the book:
Disconnect the connector

NOTE: If the connector lock tab is difficult to release, push in on the connector body before pushing on the release lock.

But I wouldn't disconnect if you don't have

Thanks for the reply, ill try that, just not sure where the release lock is, i should have taken a photo 1st, thanks anyway for the help.

I haven't done the rear brakes yet on my HR-V, I did it on my Civic, I just removed the EPB actuator (motor) without disconnecting, just ensure you have something to support it and the caliper also.

I Just wanted to service the brakes, as this is my 1st time with a HRV, i wasnt sure if i needed to remove the plug from the parking brake, but from what ive been reading, i dont think its needed.

My HR-V is about three years old with 58600 miles. I thought it was about time to replace the brake pads (it wasn't, as it still had about 40% friction material left in it), BUT I made an interesting discovery about the HR-V rear brakes. Here's a video that may be helpful in rewinding the rear...
