Does anyone have this picture of my car? It was only up for one day before the server error lost it. I accidentally touched it for too long on my phone and it edited it so fast, I couldn’t fix it and don’t have another copy.

Hello,

at first, thank you for this thread - it's very helpful!

I'd like to ask if you happen to know if EKR Covers for 2019 Honda HR-V come with original armrest cover too? I am an owner of 2019 Honda HR-V (European model) with red interior and I'd like to buy these covers (preferably the EKR leather alternative in Burgundy color) as future-proof kind of a protection.

Couple weeks ago I contacted EKR support and I've been told the armrest cover is also included but I didn't see that anywhere...

Thanks a lot for your help!

So my black cloth front seat covers in my 2016 are badly stained, some from wet bathing suits (I'm in Florida) and construction dust (supposedly my late husband bought the seat protection). I've been debating getting seat covers, but I have the heated seats, which I obviously don't use very often, but still. Suggestions? If I just get them detailed, how do I avoid the problem in the future?

I purchased the following to minimise the seats getting muddy and damp when taking our dog out.

I fitted a set of loose fitting seat covers (the company classes them as 'semi' tailored), which I remove and launder as part of the deep interior clean.

I also carry a set of seat covers similar to these Car Seat Rug - Muddy Rug for occasions when the weather gets really bad. Fortunately it has not got that bad yet.

Also as part of my post winter deep interior clean I apply a spray on stain guard onto the seats and the boot. The main PITA is that you need to leave it to cure for at least 12 hours, 24 hours preferably.

Regardless of whether you use any of the above, as soon as you realise the seats are damp, deal with it soonest as you don't want the water to seep further down into the foam as it will cause mould to form. It may not be a bad practice to get into when the seats are damp to switch the heated seats on for a bit to assist with drying them out.

If you get them cleaned then have them treated with Scotch-guard protection. I have the EKR covers and although I don’t have heated seats, they’ve survived many scorching hot pizza boxes.

Hi Taxi, there is a big difference between mold on the foam and the mould that is made with foam. However, there is also a difference between American English and British English but I assume that they know what you meant. I’ve seen mold on the seat’s covering before but I have never seen mold on a seat’s foam (moulding). We would always use “Simple Green” to clean it away and it never came back again after that.

Hi Taxi...
American English and British English....
Hadley died three years ago at the grand old age of 15. It did not sit right with me to retain a user name that reminded me of her. Also, I was getting pig sick of having posts picked up and receiving bans for reasons I found trivial and frivolous. Hence killing that account and starting a new one. Since having the new username, no pick up points, and no bans!

Or as we like to call it, English. The problem with refering to it as British English is geographically (and politically) you omit one of the four countries that constitute the United Kingdom.

The Republic of Ireland is part of the British Isles, however, they are not classified as British. Well, not since 1921......

* To further complicate matters there are three island territories within the British Isles that are known as Crown Dependencies; these are the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsy which make up the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The Crown Dependencies are not part of the Unitied Kingdom, but are self-governing possessions of the Crown.

Simples!
