Finally got around to de badging it and it was relatively cheap and fast. I didn’t have all the tools to do it so I took it to a local body shop and they did it for $60 that included removing 3 badges and a dealership sticker and polishing. Literally took only 15–20 minutes and it looked like it should have came stock like this.

Always loved de-badging our vehicles. Usually it's pretty simple. Just a heat gun or hair dryer, some good floss, and a shop rag to smudge the remaining adhesive. $60 isn't a bad price, and it's way cheaper that what the dealer charges just to remove their sticker.

Personal preference, aesthetics, to name a few.

Some of the badges are a right PITA when it comes to waxing and polishing your vehicle, especially since some manufacturers are replacing their logo with their name spelled out in individual letters.

I've never debadged any of my vehicles before, but after faffing around trying to remove polish and wax residue from around the HR-V lettering, I'm now giving it some serious consideration.

I'ma gonna leave the H badges and HRV badge, but the dealer front plate and rear plate surroung are gone......just have to get down to peeling off the dealer "rubbery plastic" sticker they appled. Guess I was excited on the day of purchase, forgot to tell them I'll leave it on if they wanna pay me a weekly stipend for their advertising....I'll DIY it, no big deal

Only “badging” I removed was dealer crap…. Front license plate dealer ad (not required in TN, replaced with a Yin Yang plate, works well on the white EX), rear license plate surround with dealer ad on it, and took a hair dryer to the hatch to remove the rubbery plastic dealer sticker(s) there…. Meant to insist they remove it all before taking delivery, but my lady love was so excited about getting her new car so quickly, I kind of forgot, was excited for her. No biggie, though, couple minutes with a screwdriver and a couple minutes with a hair dryer and a rag with some isopropyl alcohol, all is well… I can live with the front/rear H badges and the HRV badge
