congrats, it would also be interesting what sort of fuel economy you are getting
km/l or liter/100km would work, we can convert to MPG :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys....

Yeah ... totally loving it ... from Honda City ... iDSI to iVtec to CRZ to CRV to Civic FD and many more ... just listing Honda variant that i previously owned ..

this top the chart of being slightly bigger in size then CITY and CRZ ... but tat smaller then CRV that is bulky and abit underpower .... this is ... Crossover ...

still lack of power ... maybe due to the additional 100kg from Civic FB (140bhp) this HR-V is 142bhp ... R18xx engine ... the ecu is tuned for the G design CVT .... but anyway ... using ECO mod i can sweep the traffic easily ...

if this is a K20 2.0 160bhp engine ... it will be the sweetest ride ...

i owned the V variant ... this variant is kindly ... i dunno ... drop in between luxury and economy model ... with everything EXCEPT sunroof ... lane watch ... paddle shifter
this V varient is the highest money can buy here ... OTR RM118,800 about USD32,300 yes ... it's bloody expensive here ... but petrol is cheap ..

touching on petrol .. my first few tank was on RON97 ... i did not really count the mileage yet as from previous experience ... i'll do that only after my 1st engine oil change ... city driving about 10 to 12 km / liter and highway ... duh .. i cannot recall...

but i did a reading of 24km on cruise control at 120km/h ... it's about 11.5km/l mileage ... this afternoon ... hilly road ... strong wind ... and i did a 24km high speed run at 160~180km/h with 6.5km/l mileage reading ....

i'm doing both test after the change of a new Vossen CV5 rim ... 225/45-18 ... my stock rim was 215/60-16 ....

below is my crossover overlooking a park in front of my house about 7pm in the evening .... enjoy ....

i hope there are more haters here ... hehehe ... waiting is really killing me too ..
i waited since July 2014 ... i get to know Honda Vezel going to sell in Malaysia ... the
Official Preview was on 7th January ... Official Launching 8th February ... 1st batch
to roll out to be able to register with Road Transport Department 16th February ...
i got my car the 1st day it roll out ... joining hundreds in all over Malaysia ...

so ... i paid the waiting price too ... ok now ... continue to hate me ... hahaha

Nice ride Philcuore!

If you could provide more close up pictures of the interior that would be great! Would love to see how the HRV looks in Malaysia compared to what we'll be getting in the US.

Thanks

also in for seeing pictures of the interior, i have a feeling there's going to be a lot of market to market comparisons going on here for a while to come.
a lot to factor in!
i just update some picture in ( Honda HR-V Photos and Videos ) folder
BRAZILIAN HR-V (The most expensive in The Americas?)

Hi guys,

(Sharing my first fellings on HR-V)

I´ve got my Honda HR-V (EX-L) in Brazil, where it´s was launched on March, 20. On the following Monday I was driving it (´cause I paid before I saw it!!)

I paid U$ 28K, for our "top" version but, you don´t need to be scared: the Honda Prices in USA prices are something like 65/70% of the prices we pay in Brazil. I mean, for sure you fellows will have a better car and pay some 20K.

We was paying U$ 50K for a CR-V last year. Until now we don't have the face-lifted model which is being sold in NA.

I´ve been to América some times, and I know you guys are tall (myself I´m 6.04 ft tal). Ok, I use to drive a CR-V and the leg room for the driver was very good for me, BUT, in the HR-V, I found myself squeezed.

I´m driving it for 12 days and I´m sure it´s NOT for tall people (6 ft or more). It´s a good car, and I´m sure your car will be better than ours (as Always - we don´t have sunroof, start/stop, WatchLane and so on...).

This is my contribution for now. If anyone think I can help more: valdemirUCB(AT)gmail(DOT)com

Good luck for the ones who already pre-ordered the HR-V.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Brazil's Fit EX-L (manufactured there, unlike the CR-V) sells for 22k USD, 10% over the US price. By that measure Valdemir's HR-V EX-L would cost 24,454 USD...mwhch sounds about right to me.
Hi... just got mine 2 weeks ago. Brown Jupiter EXL. Hello from Brazil.
Hello from Michigan, bought a Milano Red EX HRV. Just sold Juke Nismo for it, love the HRV!
Got the blue, awd,ex cvt 10 days ago.

Finding it to be a fun little car compared to my old Honda Accord.
Did just fine on a 1000 mile road trip
Avg 36 mpg so far
Hi there,

I am also from Malaysia. I just got my HRV 1 and a half months ago and loving every moment in it.

Waited over 4 months to get the car but it was well worth the wait! I am averaging 12.9km/L now previously was 13.9km/L when new and have drove over 3500km on it. Best part is that my year old son absolutely loves it too and makes me drive him out each night if not he will start being moody hahaha.....

I bought the S Spec which is the lowest spec variant in Malaysia.
