Have been considering a new Fit but thinking about waiting on the HR-V. Like the bigger size of the HR-V but a little concerned about the MPG of the HR-V. Getting 32-35 mpg on my Chevy HHR now and I have a 80 mile round trip to work and back. Can't wait to see one.

80 mile rounds trip to work each day sounds terrible. How long does that take you to do each day?

The Fit is a good car, but you should wait to try out the HR-V first and see how you like it.

With your commute being so long each day, I can see how the mpg of the vehicle would be a big factor for ya.

I bet you are happy with the decreasing gas prices, huh?
I also commute 80 miles, but one way, 160 round trip. Also from PA. My 03 Civic, knock on wood, has been handling the miles and gas great. I also am very eager to see the HRV. I just saw that Malaysia is getting the HRV possibly in Feb with some features I like such as the LED headlights and daytime running lights. I want the Vezel name on it too.

Why the Vezel name?

I hear ya....never liked the name HR-V.
Sometimes when I say it fast ,it comes out "HIV". That actually happened to me when I was talking to a Honda rep at the Auto show.

Takes me one hour in the morning, at 4:30 AM lots of deer, elk, turkey, bear and assorted varmints to look out for on these two lane country roads. Coming home in the afternoon it only takes 45 minutes because I am flying home. I am loving the gas prices but PA has a higher tax per gallon so it's still $2.55/gal.
I hit the road rt around 4:45 am. Yes, watch the deer especially when in rut. Gas prices are alot better than before though. Filling up at 2.41/gal.

Get out the door early to get home early with less traffic.

Watch that fast talk too. Don't want to scare anyone away from the HRV name.
Vezel just sounds better

Wow, that is quite the commute. I don't even get out of bed until about 7:30am.

It's good to hear that you are still going to go for a fuel efficient vehicle despite gas prices going down though. I hope there isn't a group of people who start buying Hummers again because of the change in gas prices.

Welcome to the show, those C5's were bad ass back in the day. What year?
Vette is an 2001 25,000 miles. Had a computer tune done, it's stupid fast.
Good to see another Pennsylvanian on here. I too, have a Fit ( 2010 Sport ) My commute is around 120 miles per day. My fit has 135,000 miles but I'm seriously thinking about an HRV for my next vehicle.

Sounds similar. I too am from PA. I commute 52 miles 1 way. I have a 2007 Fit Sport with 140K on it.

I am looking forward to a better drivers seat and AWD. I was hoping to get a diesel but looks like that will never happen.

cant wait to see the HRV in person
