I have to say I'm pretty disappointed that they rolled this out without any access to the interior (not even photos). As far as I can tell, the amount of new information coming out of the Paris show was limited to confirming the power-trains for the Euro. model.

that something i also noticed.
but maybe that's because it's a preproduction model and they don't want people in it just yet.

still a while to go till it comes out
hopefully we'll see something soon enough.

Obviously they don't have the interior completed or else I'm sure they would have shown it off. I don't really expect it to be much different from what we have seen before. Is there anything different from what we've seen before that you are expecting to see in the interior of the next gen models?

I really want to see how they incorporate a manual transmission into the center console. Right not the shifter for the automatics is right above the space that's below that has the USB and other inputs on the Vezel. Also, I'm wondering how much of a quality hit the interior will take since I don't think we'll be getting the nice leather and other touches the Vezel gets. I hoping they don't make it too cheap looking.

I wonder how much cheap black plastic we will be seeing. I realize that this isn't a luxury vehicle, but it would be nice to get some nicer quality materials at least as an option on the interior.

As nice as it would be to see less cheap plastic, it's something we have to learn to expect and accept once we do get it. This is a cheap vehicle and they will need to cut back in area's they can. I rather them put more money into the development and refinement of key working components.

Overall, Honda has kept their interior's simple enough. They're not known for having amazing interiors, just interiors that are good enough for the vehicles they're in.

If someone wants a nice interior and other luxuries, they might as well wait for the Acura version, but that's likely to be up to another $10k more.

all I'm going to say about the interior is that if you don't want plastic you better be prepared to pay for it. In North America you might be better off waiting for the Acura...

The Vezel is stunning inside and out however...

I fully expect a fair amount of plastic to be on the inside of the HR-V. If the interior is on par with the Fit I'll be happy. I'm wondering just how much a difference it'll be from the Vezel. The spy shots of the mule in Europe look promising to me.

Another thing, I have friends and family with newer Honda's and I come from a history of older honda's, all of these going from the 90's to now, and overall, myself and many others have been happy enough with what the interior is like on them. Design, build quality, materials, etc.

Comparing what you have to others in it's segment is also a great way to see how good or bad what you have is.

looking at CRV and FIT, I don't think theres reason for concern..
