Honda will be bringing the HR-V back to Australia in 2015. The HR-V name was seen in Australia last in 2001 when it was a 'Low Emission Vehicle', because of its compliance with strict new standards.

Can the HR-V become the company’s top seller in Australia, however? "It would be a big call to say it would outsell Civic but you never know,” said Collins, Australia's local Honda boss.

Seems like Honda is really pushing to make the HR-V a global vehicle. It seems like just the right vehicle for what people want. Everyone wants a CUV.

Well Just look at where the JAzz/FIT is sold and you can pretty much figure out where HR-V/Vezel will be sold. platform sharing brings down barriers to entry, the FIT has already taken care of certifications in the respective environments...
