Seems like Honda is really pushing to make the HR-V a global vehicle. It seems like just the right vehicle for what people want. Everyone wants a CUV.

Well Just look at where the JAzz/FIT is sold and you can pretty much figure out where HR-V/Vezel will be sold. platform sharing brings down barriers to entry, the FIT has already taken care of certifications in the respective environments...

Yup, thats a good way to look at this, this is just a step above the Fit and likely to appeal to the same people the Fit did and of course more people, even completely new people to Honda.
