What is the likelihood the manual will return when NA gets the turbo?
About the same percentage as they sold when it was available, like 3%

I'd love to buy another stick, but no manufacturer is introducing them, just killing them off

Everywhere else then the USDM HRV/Vezel is everything I wanted before buying. Wish this would come stateside. Would trade my current one in a heartbeat
Hold out for the 2021, my friend. I'm 98% certain the new generation is coming out this year, and I'm expecting better engine options. That said, my wife wants me to get the new generation when it comes out and trade her car for it so that she can have my current one! :p

The MkII HR-V was sold in Europe with a 1.5 Turbo, which was a standalone model called the Sport. It had different interior tweeks, twin exhaust and 'sports' suspension.

Couple of points to clarify from the above video;

The HR-V was available in Europe with two 1.5 petrol engines; 129bhp na and the 182bhp turbo.
0-62mph(100kph) around 7.8 seconds. The 1.5 na is officially around 10.4, but has been clocked on some reviews at 9.5 and 9.9 seconds. Fuel economy for the Turbo is only 1 or 2 mpg off my 1.5 na - 34 - 48mpg (Imperial).
