Any idea what trims level will be offered with the 6-speed manual? I know it's limited to the FWD model, I'm just hoping it's offered in an EX or higher trim level......

In another thread called "the best article so far", I quoted from the Honda statement at its debut. There is no indication there that upper models won't have manual.I would think if they would mention about the AWD not having a stick, they would say that too.

The problem I have with assuming the upper trim levels will have the MT as an option is that......all of Honda's current lineup shows that they are limiting MTs to lower end models (outside of the Civic Si, which is a performance trim level).

The regular Civic sedan - only available on the LX model. The Civic Coupe, only available on the LX and EX. The Accord, only on the LX, Sport, and EX. The same thing with the Fit - only on the LX and EX. EX-L and Navi models are constantly shut out....which which leads me to doubt Honda will spread the love on the HR-V.....

I hear ya.....but the HR-V is not a coupe or sedan. So maybe it will be treated differently?
