I've been scouring the site thinking obviously someone must've done this, but either my search techniques are wrong or it doesn't exist. Could anyone point me to how to remove the rear trunk interior panel? i'm trying to get to the body of the car from the inside. Thanks

is this the panel on the hatch - the larger panel with the 2 small access doors ( for the tailights ) ?
If so- you start at the top and pry and pop off the one horizontal piece above the window -
Then you can access the 2 D-pillar covers- they will pop off when pulled
that give you access to pop of the lower panel

They overlap- and reinstall is lower first, then 2 D-pillars, then top panel.

A plastic trim panel removal kit will also be your friend. Something like

Tresalto Auto Trim Removal Tool Set [Non Marring and No Scratch] Auto Trim Kit for Easy Removal of Car Door Panels, Fasteners, Molding, Dashboards and Wheel Hubs, 5 PCS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L8GHB7O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ut.vFb9BN3XMB

it will protect your panels from getting scratched/dented/nicked

And don’t forget to save any clips that may fall off. Maybe get extra replacements as they are easily broken.
