My apologies .. it's bad form to start a duplicate thread, but hopefully more people will notice this title...

Per Nation's "New Information" thread ... Sunday, the Missus and I are planning to take the Prius down from Portland to a convenient MTA stop (yes Charlie, it's the MTA!) ... and then take the Tube on into the Convention Center.
Unless of course, there's too much snow :(

please take some pics. I should take a weekend trip from PA to Boston
Will definitely take and post pics ...
Note: The best camera is the iPhone in your pocket ... while the worst is the big SLR at home on the shelf :|

why do you say that about the cameras?

I have experience with both iphone cameras and full-frame SLR's, i'll take an SLR any day.
I think he was referring to "on the shelf"

you would probably remember to take your phone but might forget the SLR.

I should have said the iPhone in your pocket is better than the SLR that you left on the shelf at home ...
But no doubt, if you have it with you, our old 60D takes better pictures than the new 6+ :)
:(

Just returned from the 2015 Boston/New England Automobile Show.

Locked up tight ... no access to the interior ... no look at the trunk ... no peak under the hood ... nothing.

Same ol', same ol' AWD EX-L blue example seen at L.A. and Detroit ...

"There it is. You look at it. You see it. We don't know nuthin'." No colors, no prices, no delivery dates ... nothing.

But it was exactly what we've seen in all the pictures ... attendees exhibited scant interest ... no information signage, no brochure ... only a few sales types lurking about from one of the local dealerships.

Actually, about all I saw of interest were a few Race Queens over at the Ford display ... all safely tucked behind a covered table ... definitely didn't measure up to Japanese standard.

'Hope Philly is significantly better.

P.S. Wife likes the HR-V as much as ever ... wants to order a white AWD EX-L when available.

What a disappointment. Well you saw it from the outside, more than we saw in Phoenix.
Hey, they had to keep it locked up tight so it would stay in good shape when they ship this same car to Philly. :)
( Or will they get the "pawed" example from Detroit?) :)
You're making me believe more and more that going to the Philly show is going to be a waste of my time...

You could wait until after the first day of the public show. I keep track of pictures on the net through Bing. When a new picture comes up, I trace the source of the picture and find which car is there and if the car is accessible.

This is how I knew the car had become inaccessible at the public Detroit Show after the press had access.

Just checked and I see they are having press day just on the 30th. So we can watch for pictures after that to see if the car has been moved to a turntable, or pictures of what appears to be the general public sitting inside, opening doors, etc. So I would suggest planning on later in the week.
It was amazing how much the foreign press has pictures from Detroit that I don't see in the US. Thanks for the internet!
HRV will be at the St. Louis Auto Show 1/22-1/25.

How did you find out it was going to be there?
St. Louis Post Dispatch. "Included at the auto show among a handful of not-yet-in showrooms 2016 models will be Honda's all-new HR-V compact crossover."

Are you going to look at it?
I'll be there when the doors open

Cool.......you will have to give us a report after you see it....with photos!

I hope they let you inside the car.

I hope it is a different car than the three we have seen.
