LED's are also much more reliable and will last 10x longer than the standard halogen headlamps. They also draw less electrical current. So even though they are pricey in the long run its worth it.![]()
I'm with you, however cite replacement cost as my gripe...I will no doubt be in the minority, but I prefer halogens with premium bulbs. I hate the sharp cutoff on projector lamps too, especially in the hilly terrain in which I frequently drive.
LED housings definitely look cool, but I am not a fan of the output.
