make your choice ... LED Headlamp is sure on par with HID ... i owned both HR-V and CRZ and i think my HR-V smoked the HID ... though ... never tested both on rainy day at night....

LED's are also much more reliable and will last 10x longer than the standard halogen headlamps. They also draw less electrical current. So even though they are pricey in the long run its worth it. :)

The original halogen bulbs in my Toyota headlights lasted over a dozen years, so I'm not too concerned about longevity. While I do prefer the look of the LED's, it's not a deal breaker for me if they aren't installed in the HRV.

I will no doubt be in the minority, but I prefer halogens with premium bulbs. I hate the sharp cutoff on projector lamps too, especially in the hilly terrain in which I frequently drive.

LED housings definitely look cool, but I am not a fan of the output.
one of the reasons why i like blacked out housings, fortunately the halogen headlight assembly has a bit of that going on.

So... If I read this right.. If I had purchased HID's for the vehicle... I lose my DRL? =( Lame... Not worth losing imo.
