The new Fit and HRV are both from the new Mexican factory, consider about the significant lower label and delivery cost (compare to the previous JDM fit). Honda is making much more gross profit for the new Fit and the HRV. If they can use this promotion for the all time hot seller fit, it just make more sense to give same or better promotion for the new HRV to gain popularity quickly.

This could be the way for Honda to gradually move to 6 year 100K km warranty, to compete with other brands. Now not many people buy this additional warranty, plus most honda cars are reliable for 100k km. So in average, honda will not spend a lot of money for longer warranty, meanwhile this longer warranty will definitely boost the sales for the made in Mexico, high profit cars

The Montreal International Auto Show will be in town Jan. 16th to the 25th, 2015. For sure, Honda will have their HR-V displayed. I don't know if the car will have them at the dealerships before the auto show. Last year one of my friends was given a certificate for a free extended warranty if he bought a Honda car (Civic) at the show or in the near future.

yea, they're taking shots at Toyota with that one. Toyotas gone on record that they will protect Camry's number one volume status to the DEATH. SO subprime and fleet sales ensue. I'm not sure f they know this but thats how GM went down the drain...

Anyone know what kind of incentives are being seen on Accords, CRVs... ?

and fortunately for Toyota they have billions to make sure that camry sales can stay on top even if it has to come at a loss to them, one which they can make up for after.

honda has money too but they don't seem to be going crazy with it with their automotive sector.
