I did a little research and found the following on Torque News regarding the release of the MMC (Mid Model Change) of the CR-V. While not the same as release of a entirely new model (HR-V) perhaps we can get some insite into the dates that may affect the HR-V reviews and appearance on dealer lots.
"We’ll experience 2015 CR-V very soon
Torque News will be driving and reviewing the 2015 Honda CR-V Sept. 25. We look forward to sharing our experience with you the last week in Sept."
and then later in the comments section:
"Hi David, I'll know Thursday and although the have an article embargo in place until Sept 30"
and:
"we expect dealership delivery of the 2015 CR-V to occur the first week in October. BUTTTT! Not all dealerships will receive the 2015 CR-V at that time."
So, in trying to convert the CR-V timeline to the HR-V, we could possible see the embargo end sometime during the fist week in March, then expect to HR-V's starting to arrive on lots in mid March with sales expected to start eaarly April (based on some hints in testers tweets).
