Installed EXL 2019 head unit into 2020 LX. GPA Antenna and USB questions.

So, I bought a 2019 navi head unit from a junked EXL, and I installed it in my 2020 LX (which just has the base level radio/cd player). I have the anti-theft code from the junked car, so no issues there. I'm waiting on a Honda GPS antenna to arrive today or tomorrow. The diagnostics show the reverse camera working. I cant use the unit until I make the error about GPS go away.
Anyone have any experience installing the GPS antenna in the dashboard? Any tips on getting it in that tight space?

Also, my LX only has one (1) USB port in the lower dash, which checks out on the new head unit in the diagnostics, at least.
But, I'm not certain that port and cable behind it will support android auto.
Anyone want to weigh in on whether I can buy the two port dash plugin and the carplay/android cable to connect to the head unit? How do I figure out the part number for that? Or could I possibly move some of the wire ends in the plug into the radio and make it work without buying any new parts? Anyone have a wiring diagram for that USB cable?
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Thanks. I'm getting the same errors for A/C and the lane watch cameras, but doesn't affect anything and doesn't show up on my OBD scanner, so not worried about those.
I am running a wire from under the dash to the radio to get the reverse trigger signal, so the backup camera will come on when I backup, that's a pain but worth it. Fortunately, all my steering wheel controls are working. So far no luck with android auto. I have the Honda 1.5amp smartphone usb assembly installed, and the radio sees my phone in the diagnostics, but no AA. That sucks bc it's the whole reason I upgraded. I'm trying an OEM USB cable this weekend I ordered from Motorola (my original cable for this phone is USB C on both ends, which won't plug into the car, been using an anker cable instead). Hoping the oem cable will perform a miracle. Have two can bus errors I might fix related to ACC, which would require me to run a wire into the steering wheel ignition, not going to do it if I can avoid it. In hindsight, I should have bought from Crutchfield and I would be enjoying Android Auto already. I like to tinker, but this is no longer fun, just exasperating.
I spent ALOT on my new Kenwood and imaestro kit - so far on paper all should work without issue. But i already have GPS and Sirius etc from the factory so its a lot less i have to "add". My only concern so far is where and how to mount the microphone, as I planned on running the 2nd USB connection to the glove box and NOT use the console plug from honda. (i hide an old ipod with the touchwheel in there for all my music - and leave it there)

I know it could be some trouble, but there is a spot on the dash for the internal thermometer that would be a nice place to hotglue a microphone, so it already has openings cut in the dash.
SUCCESS! With Android Auto at least. So, after installing the correct cable from Honda, I needed to clear the cache from my android auto app, go into developer mode and use a new USB control panel to allow the phone to do data transfer over usb. Wa-Bam, android auto jumped up and started working.
Here’s what worked for me:
1. Turn USB debugging ON on the phone. (Under developer options. If you don’t have developer options available in settings, it can be turned on by going to About Phone and tapping on “Build Number” several times until a message appears saying that you are ‘now a developer’.)

2. Forget the Bluetooth pairing between my phone and my car on both the phone and the car.
3. Clear data for Android Auto app on my phone.
4. Restart Phone.
5. Turn car off-and-on.

Then go into the USB control panel that you can only seem to find when your phone is plugged into the car, and make the switch. YMMV

Any way you could get a picture of the plugs on the back of your 2019 radio? I want to swap a radio out of a 2019 into an older model hrv (2016) and want to see how different the plugs are. If not no big deal. Awesome work by the way!

Looking at swapping a 2020 Sport stock radio with a 2020 EX stock unit - how do you get past the code? Tried everything as per manual including hold the power button for more that 2 sec while key is in ignition II. If I put back the original 2020 Sport radio - the unlock procedure works for the SPORT but just not for the EX radio.
I had the VIN for the donor car and was able to look up the code from Honda. Sorry I can't help.
I created a case with Honda and provided a copy of the proof of purchase from the auto recycler. I got the code from them in 2 days.

Was the swap from a Sport to EX radio plug and play for you, other than your issues with unlocking it? I want to have HD Radio in our Sport. Is that why you swapped?

I swapped to get the Lane Watch feature.
