Right. Did you save/export your permissions in the permissions app and then restored those in the same app after you installed the updates? Or you just reconfigured the permissions in the permissions app manually after installing the updates?
I suspect the issue may be in how the app restored permissions.

First of all, there's nothing worthwile in the Honda app package. Why would you want to update any of it?

Anyway, it looks like you've already installed an update in the Honda app centre. But you can still get custom apps installs working again - you just need to change the "Allowed Installations" using Honda Permissions app as follows:

- change HondaAppCenter_A1.apk "Sig digest sha256" back to PREINSTALL (it will have a random string written there by the update so you need to put PREINSTALL back).

- you also need to re-enter the "Process Permissions" for your custom apps as these will also have been removed by the update

I just bought a new honda, i tried factory resetting but whenever i try to install any app. the install button is greyed out. is there any solution?

Unfortunately I can confirm that with the RC7 version ( 0f.095.01.0021 ), it's not possible to install any application with the naming-hack

Install button is always disabled (grated out).
I'll try to make some additional research in that field.

Ok, I got it working - it is possible to downgrade software to RC6.1 using this package:

You just have to download it, put to tue USB stick in root directory (USB has to be formatted as FAT32) and reboot your head unit.
It'll be installed automatically. At the end, just do the factory reset in case if Install button is still gray.

So I extract the ZIP and put it on the root of usb stick => same result => Nothing.

North American version is not based on Android like other markets are. Try if you want, doubt it will work

I tried it on a new 2019 Belgian HRV. Didn't work
After selecting the file on the USB, the "install" button is grayed out. Trying to download it directly, but it kept on downloading.
Now after a reset with a 10 seconds push on the power, can't browse, can't update, wrong date and time

What is the password after those 10 seconds push on the power or how do I change the date if it is all grayed out in de android settings?
