I backed out of my garage (cold engine) and there were several ding-ding-ding sounds, I looked at the dash and saw no lights indicating an issue, so I kept backing out and the dings went off again. This time I caught a very fast yellow flash down near the "cruise control on" light. It would not stay on. I kept driving, and as I pulled away from a stop sign the dings went off again and the in-the-blink-of-an-eye yellow flash again. I kept driving for a half hour and it did not happen again.
The brake fluid level was fine. I then checked the coolant level in the expansion tank and it appeared low. I took off the radiator cap and no coolant was visible. Anyways, I added coolant to top up the radiator and added some to the expansion tank. I haven't driven it yet (we are currently under hurricane conditions).
