Noise with the sunroof

Hello, when the sun visor of the sunroof is open, there is a vibration noise when the road is degraded or there is a speed bump.
So i drive with the sun visor close to have silence.

Sorry for my english, i'm french.

is it the glass panel ?
or could it be that light and thin insulation panel that you slide back with your hand - I notice that can be loose and can shake when going over bumps - ( it almost too light and shakes easily)
The roof over my head. I have the hrv exclusive version. I don't know if it the right terms in English
The flimsy sunshade. It rattles when slid open traveling over rough roads. Don't what can be done? cheap construction.

If I understand you have the same problem?
So it is not an isolated case...

i think if you have the same issue as me- the lightweight 'insulation' panel that you slide back with your hand - the whole panel is very lightweight and it rattles if not closed totally.
it's the product of the design - make the car inexpensive and make anything as light as possible - this slight rattle is the byproduct.
if this is the same issue. it only happens on rough roads and if the panel is pulled back somewhat.
Im speaking about the rooftop

The glass piece ?? if that rattles, then something is broken.
He is talking about the sunshade when retracted. Sounded like the rattle is coming from the roof. Something got lost in translation.:)

I get the same. I've just learned to ignore it. Does get annoying over really bumpy roads though. But if you crack the moonroof, the wind noise overshadows it. 😂

Saw a forum about this a while back. I think the person said they lubed some bar behind the sunshade or something. But I feel like that would just spread lube all over the shade itself when you retract it over the bar. 🤷‍♂️

It seems to just be the design. You're not the only one. ☹

I've never experienced this on my '16. If you jam something in the shade when it's retracted to stop it from bouncing and rattling would it help?

Maybe i will try it.
But i have to be in the back when someone drive to identify what make that vibration sound haha

next time you drive over rough roads bumps - just lightly push up on the panel with your finger as you are driving - if it stops rattling then you know that is the issue . only need to take one hand off the wheel and you can do it by yourself.

I take a video to hear the sound
It's the air deflector, that pops up when you open the sun roof. My hrv is doing the same thing. My plan is to buy some foam, then glue it to where the air deflector sits when the sunroof is closed, so that it's resting on foam and can't rattle. Should be simple, maybe a $10.00 fix and won't return

Went to home Depot and bought 2 different felt pads for the Air deflector to sit on when the sun roof is closed, neither of them was thick enough to make contact with the deflector, so got some black silicone and siliconed the everbuilt felt pad to the top of the scotch felt pad, this made them about 3/4 of an inch thick and worked out perfectly. The scotch pads have really good glue on the bottom so I feel like they will hold up for a long time. Just make sure you clean the location before you stick it down. Spent right at 10 bucks. Put one of my double thick felt pads in both front corners of the sunroof track.

I have a rattling that comes from the plastic/metal frame of the sunroof in my 2017 HR-V. It happens when the sunroof is closed and can hear it even when the plastic part is closed. It’s not the wind deflector…any thoughts on how to eliminate that rattling noise?
