Hey guys,

I visited my local Honda showroom on Sunday morning and I was informed the HRV just came in last night. The model on display was the 1.5 E version (which coincidentally was the version that I ordered). I took a few pictures to show you guys the interior and exterior of this model. The Honda guy, unfortunately, has little to no information on the car so all we can do is observe the pics together.

This unit costs around Rp 289,500,000- / $22,894 (US Dollars) / £15,166 (GBP)

Interior

This was the interior of the 1.5 E version. For this specific version, the interior only comes in black. Other versions come in beige or black. There's no 7 inch Kenwood head unit monitor. This one is a 6.1 inch JVC. I was a bit disappointed that the steering wheel wasn't wrapped in leather and the transmission panel didn't have that black glossy finish.

This was my biggest disappointment. They didn't have the USB and HDMI ports, only the power outlet. I guess it depends on your audio head unit but I'd still like that option. I'm going to ask if this is a feature I can upgrade in the future.

The back seats were surprisingly spacious for me. I'm 1.77m tall, so I guess I'm average in this part of the world and I have a good 10-15 cm gap from my legs to the front seats. Similar to the legroom in the Honda Fit/Jazz, for your comparison.

The backseats couldn't recline but it was pretty decent for my liking.

This is the view from the back.

The seats for this particular version is half leather and half fabric. I hate it. I'd rather have either a full fabric / full leather version. The 1.8 version gets full leather. 1.5 S and below gets full fabric. The dashboard is leather stitched but the side panels are covered in fabric. I'm going to get this wrapped in full leather once I get it.

I couldn't turn on the car because technically the showroom wasn't open yet but it looks like you can change the color of the rings in the panel.

Exterior

The picture of the exterior. Probably exactly the same as it has been advertised across the world. The LED lamps are only available for the 1.8 version. Below that you get the standard Halogen lamps. No sharkfin antenna (only 1.8).

LED turn signal on the side mirrors.

Standard 17 inch alloy wheels.

A little confirmation that this in fact was the 1.5 E version.

Above are a couple of pics with the front and brake lights on.

And this is the print out brochure with the features of each version.

Well there you go guys. This is the 1.5 E version for the Indonesian market, just for comparison for what you guys have in your respective countries. Apologies for the captions (English isn't my first language).

Overall I'm pleased with the car and can't wait to get my hands on one. I'm a bit disappointed that they chose to left out some features in the interior but it doesn't bother me that much. Hopefully this is a car that'll last me a good 5 years (at least).

Terima kasih!

Wow....thanks so much for posting these!

I imagine that the US version trims will differ. I hope the LX isn't too stripped here.

So the one we see here is the lowest model?

Oh , I see "ditambah" means "added". Now the list makes sense.

Yup, ditambah means added. Basically you read it from bottom to top, with the bottom being the lowest version and all the standard features you will get. As you work your way up, you'll get the additional features with the higher version of the car.

The version we're seeing here is the 1.5 E, which is the highest of the 1.5L model and the second highest overall, with 1.8 Prestige being the highest. The 1.8 Prestige model costs roughly Rp 355,000,000- ($28,000), and it has the sun roof, LED headlights, rear camera, full leather seats, side airbags etc.

Thanks..... I can see why you ordered that model. It has some nice extras.
If it is not asking too much, could you take some pictures of other models as they come into the dealer? I know many here would appreciate it.

P.S......no need to apologize for your captions ...they were perfectly understandable....Thanks!
Dying to see this car in person but great pictures giving us a better idea on how it will look...
$28,000 for the top of the line is disappointing, I was hoping to spend a little less for a top of the line model. I would also prefer the 1.5 for better mpg's and would like full leather. Honda should let you order what you want like GM and other us manufactures do instead of forcing you to buy their particular package.

These are Indonesian prices and features you are seeing. The US is certain to be different.

We do know you can't get the 1.5 here.

It would be nice if you could pick and choose by option, but packaging does help keep the price down by not having to customize vehicles coming off the line, I believe.
Do you have any mileage numbers from your dealer?

Yeah, will do. I'm planning to visit a few Honda dealers this week, hoping to catch a glimpse of the 1.8 Prestige and the 1.5 S. Photos won't be as detailed as the 1.5 E. I'll focus on what you would/wouldn't get compared to the 1.5 E.

I'm 99.9% sure the prices in the US would be cheaper than the price that I quoted. Cars in this part of the world are more expensive than the ones marketed in the West. For example, the lowest model of the CRV, which is the 2.4 I-VTEC 2WD is starting at $23,445 in the States, while here in Indonesia it costs Rp 431,000,000- (or $34,000). The more expensive the cars here, the pricier it gets (because of luxury car taxes).

The Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe costs about $210,000 in the States. Here it costs $950,000. And it's sold out.

Do you have any mileage numbers from your dealer?
No information on that unfortunately. I'm expecting it to be in the range of the Honda Fit/Jazz or the Civic. I'll update if I get the info on that.
Appreciate all the pictures and information. Can't wait to actually see it and test drive it. My son and the finance person at the dealer know I am waiting when it comes available here in San Diego.
We expect that in Europe, the 1.6 diesel engine to be part of the offer.
Agree - thanks so much for posting everything.. Awesome job - and great job w/your English as well! I am in the Northeast US and wish I had a date on when it would get here. I am very interested as well.. If anyone has any tips on when it will get to US and/or Northeast, please post. Thanks much.

Great pictures! Thanks.

I find it interesting the US version will not have body colored lower cladding and wheel arches on any level.
Hi all, I am also from Indonesia and newbie in this forum :)
@sipitung: Are you sure there are no USB and HDMI ports? Sshh.. what a loss:(

I have ordered black 1.5 E CVT type. The marketing guy said that I will get the car at the end of January (24th?) and it's already available in the dealer right now. Tomorrow I will check the unit.

Congrats on your soon to arrive HR-V! We are envious in the US because we have a lot longer to wait.

Take pictures!

Welcome!

Unfortunately so. The HRV in this thread is the E type so this is the model that you will be getting. I'm not even sure if the 1.8 Prestige model has the USB/HDMI ports.

I also ordered the black 1.5 E CVT. When did you order yours? I ordered mines at the beginning of December and they said I'd get mines around March :(
wow that is some nice equipment in the prestige one. I wonder if USA will get any of these at all. Do you think US models will have an option for:

panoramic sunroof
shark fin antenna
power folding mirrors
led headlights
led taillights
chrome tail pipe
chrome front door handles
half beige half black interior

i am afraid we will get a much watered down version with basic equipment only :(
