Parking sensor system issue

790 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  genebrn131
Hello! Owner of HRV 2016 1.5 petrol.

I had an accident recently at the front bumper. All 4 parking sensors were working fine after the crash (tested them).

Sent the car to the garage and fixed the bumper issue. Received it today.
Now all of a sudden parking sensors are not working.

There is this message "Parking sensor system issue" at the dashboard (a little schema of the car with the 4 parking sensors).
The parking sensor switch is blinking green.

Tried to reset the system but no luck
(Switched ignition on, Pressed and depressed parking switch 10 times, Switched ignition off, Pressed parking switch for 10 sec and turned ignition on)

Any ideas?

If they were working prior to the repair but not after, bring it back to the shop.

Hopefully they just left something unplugged...

Hey!
Thanks all for your replies!

It turned out that they did not plug correctly the sensors.
Working fine now :)
