Hello!

Just got my HRV back from the auto repair shop... This cover piece by the gear shift (circled in photo) seems to be missing. Can anyone ID the part please? I've looked at the diagrams and am not certain. For frustration reasons, do not want to go back to the repair shop unless absolutely necessary...

Thanks,
Raven.

That hole is for inserting a screwdriver into (or something like it) to put the transmission into neutral for towing when it is stuck in gear. I wonder why they had to do that?

Thanks all! That's what I had suspected...
The garage had the car towed to another facility for additional repairs.

i hope its not a $25 part !
Pretty sure it is. :( I talked to the manager of the garage, he says he'll look for it or get it for me if they can't find it. (Hopefully he won't try to bill me for it too, seeing as it's their fault that it's missing!)
