So… I have a Buddy Club steering wheel on my HR-V and I was just thinking that there must be other options aside from Buddy Club… I do know that the 2015-2020 Honda Fit and the 2016-2021 Honda HR-V share the same part number (78501-T5A-N10ZA) according to Honda Parts Now.

After doing research I found that NRG Innovations as a “short hub finder” tool on their website for customers trying to find the right quick release hub for their cars given that cars across all makes and models have different spline sizes and whatnot. Well, it looks like the SRK-135H hub is made for the 2015-2020 Honda Fit which means that it should work for the Honda HR-V. Other cars that the SRK-135H hub works with are:

2015-2020 Civic
2013-2015 Accord
2013-2022 ILX

With that said, any aftermarket/OEM steering wheels that fit on the cars listed above should fit on the 2016-2021 HR-V!

This is all speculation… can’t say I tried it. Hopefully this information could help someone in the next decade or so. What do you guys think?

The attached photos below are just in case the links I provided are not available.

Nice find!

Totally correct that the Fit and HRV steering wheels are nearly identical for many model years and will interchange.

A steering wheel adapter to adapt universal steering wheels on a modern car is a challenge because of the air bag.
On most vehicles, if you disconnect or disable 1 airbag, all are disabled.

That Buddy Club website is terrible. Here is another pic of their Fit/Jazz/HRV steering wheel:
I can't find a price on it though.

I highly recommend calling BuddyClub and doing an order over the phone if anyone is interested in the steering wheel. It was the fastest option with 2-3 day shipping.
I ordered a BuddyClub Steering wheel from Redline360, and they sent me a WRX steering wheel… it caused a headache and they kept telling me that my order was being delayed. Buying from the manufacturer is definitely a better option.
