Does washing your engine with pressure washer affects the pulleys?.

I personally wouldn't use a pressure washer in the engine bay. I clean the engine once a month using this method;

In the past if the engine bay was really dirty I used this method (but using a much lesser flow than in the video);

If your engine is really dirty you could look at getting it professionally stream cleaned.

it could - they are sealed bearing but under the pressure - water could get forced in.
