It is a KNOWN issue.

It is a rare but common issues with any car with windows/moon roofs. There will be defects in glass manufacturing. The trick is trying to get your car's warranty to cover the repairs. It is much easier to get your insurance to cover it.

No it is a known manufacturer defect. The dealership told me the rear defrost is faulty and overheats the coils.

I was told the glass is back ordered for months.
Images of my “repair” until they get parts.
I can’t even open the back. The tape had air coming in down the road so I guess I can’t drive in the rain either.

Agree, but that is a Honda Corp decision. I opened a case.

I'm another victim of owning a 2023 Honda HRV and having my back window shattered while sitting in my garage for 3 days. It has taken a month to get a replacement and now I found out that they don't have all the foam to install. And of course they will not give me a loaner car. this is so frustrating.

That is crazy. They tossed all the foam weather stripping when they partially cleaned the back. Did they cover it for you? Can you open the back?
